2018
Dypros Ltd. was founded on August 1, 2018, by four IT experts with a shared passion for algorithms. The original goal was to create a best-in-class pricing engine that could continuously optimise prices through parameter-based logic and machine learning techniques.
2018
Early work relied on freely available and manually collected data, but internal testing showed that those inputs were not sufficient. This led the company to narrow its focus from general pricing to ticket pricing after securing a willing client in Hungary for market testing.
Oct 2018
The first version of the Dypros Ticketing Program became available. It was not yet fully market-ready, but it enabled live transactional data gathering while selling tickets, with Jegyx1 Zrt. in Hungary as the first client.
2019-2021
Working closely with theatres and event organisers, Dypros refined its framework, customer-service workflows, and automation capabilities. The pandemic then sharply disrupted ticket demand, reduced incoming data, and forced the company to adapt to changed purchasing behaviour after COVID.
2022-2023
A major breakthrough came through combining user-friendly front-end behaviour analysis, event characteristics, and a parameter-based real-time pricing algorithm. The company completed its first clearly marketable version, called 2.0, during the 2022 financial year and brought a second Hungarian client, Ganet Kft., live from August 2023.
2024
Version 4.0 introduced an AI-based, machine-learning pricing model together with innovative customer-facing features, further strengthening the commercial value of the platform.
2026
As of February 2026, Dypros is operating on version 5.0 and continues to enhance both the algorithm and the framework in parallel. The current strategic focus is gaining multi-country market data to unlock the next stage of growth.
